A Dark Mode Day™ is a highly focused, full-day workshop that we (on your behalf) use to tackle your creative, strategic and most pressing marketing challenges head on.

It’s called a Dark Mode Day because we go dark to everything else. We shut the laptops, roll up our sleeves and let the creative ideas come to light.

It’s the purest form of our “Fresh Ideas & Firepower” approach in action and comes in a variety of formats:

The Process

Step 1. Brief Building

On a 45-60-minute call with you, we build a detailed and thorough brief that outlines the challenges you’re facing, the needs you have and/or the strategic marketing problems you need to solve. 

(Step 1.5 Additional Research & Analysis)

  • If running a Dark Mode Day + we then carry out the additional behavioural science research and messaging build that will feed into the workshop process
  • If running a Dark Mode Day MAX we will also carry out the additional data modelling, analysis and extrapolation (as feasible with supplied/available data) that will feed into the workshop process

Step 2. Dark Mode Activated

With all research and analysis (as required) carried out we then take that brief and as a team “go dark” to anything and everything else for an entire day. Clients can join us in the room for the duration, but most prefer to dial in for the first hour to answer any questions and provide any additional context needed.

We then pull the brief apart and use a variety of creative thinking processes, models, exercises and games to generate a wealth of creative, different and inventive responses to your strategic marketing challenges. 

Step 3. Play Back

We then document and detail everything that was generated from the Dark Mode Day and run through the strategies/ideas/ concepts with you on a follow up call. From there the choice is yours…

The strategies/ideas/concepts are yours to keep and do with as you please. However, we’d obviously love to help you bring these to life with the help of our team and our “Fresh Ideas & Firepower” approach.
